All payments are processed by PayGate, a leading South African payment gateway. BeachMe never stores your card details. Transactions are protected by 3D Secure authentication.

What currency are prices shown in?

All prices on BeachMe are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. A full pricing breakdown (nightly rate, cleaning fee, VAT) is shown before you confirm.

How long does the host have to respond?

Hosts typically respond within 24–48 hours. If you have not received a response after 48 hours, you can contact BeachMe support for assistance.

Can I message the host before booking?

Currently you can include a message with your booking request in the special requests field. Direct messaging between guests and hosts will be available in a future update.

What happens if the property looks different on arrival?

If the property is materially different from what was advertised, contact BeachMe support immediately. We will investigate and work to resolve the issue, which may include a refund.

How do I leave a review?

After your stay you will receive an email invitation to leave a review. You can also submit a review from your guest dashboard under ‘Past Stays’. Reviews are moderated before being published.
